Robin Bell is a photographer based in New York City and Block Island, Rhode Island. Since the onset of the pandemic in 2020 she has lived in Los Angeles. Whether exploring an East Coast farmhouse window or a West Coast pool, her work is about reflections and the mysterious space between the interior and exterior.
Bell studied at the International Center of Photography in New York. Her work was exhibited in the juried group show at the Los Angeles Center of Photography Annual Street Photography Competition as well as a solo exhibition for the juried Rhode Island Council of the Arts competition. In addition, she has had two solo shows and a two-person show at the Spring Street Gallery, a community-based art gallery on Block Island. She was an executive board member of the Spring Street Gallery, where she developed outreach programs for island artists and created a free photoshop course to support island arts development on Block Island through the library.
