Robin Bell is a photographer based in New York City and Block Island, Rhode Island. Since the onset of the pandemic in 2020 she has lived in Los Angeles. Whether exploring an East Coast farmhouse window or a West Coast pool, her work is about reflections and the mysterious space between the interior and exterior.

Her work has been exhibited in Minneapolis, Baltimore, Ventura, California and Portland,Oregon as well as the online show from the Somerville, Massachusetts Curated Fridge. She was awarded a place in the juried group show at the Los Angeles Center of Photography Annual Street Photography Competition as well as a solo exhibition for the juried Rhode Island Council of the Arts competition. She has had two solo shows and a two-person show at

the Spring Street Gallery, a community-based art gallery on Block Island.

Bell studied at the International Center of Photography in New York, the Los Angeles Center of Photography, and the Griffin Museum of Photography in Massachusetts.

She created and taught free community photoshop courses through the Block Island Library for island artists and professionals needing graphic skills. She also developed outreach and exhibition initiatives for new island artists.
